Thursday’s NISD Invitational had multiple standout performances contributing to the team’s overall success.

Leading the way was Jase Wardlow, who claimed bronze in the 200 Individual Medley (200 IM). Tiago Furquim delivered a sweet performance in the 50 freestyle, also finishing third.

In the 100 breaststroke, Olivia Salazar secured 3rd place, while Connor Hsieh earned 2nd place in the 100 back. Charlie Capener capped off the podium finishes with a 2nd place finish in the 100 butterfly.

The team’s success wasn’t limited to the top 3 finishers. Dylan Faux, Rafael Guerrero, and Gregory Huffaker made significant contributions, helping to secure crucial points and energize the team with their dedication and effort. Other swimmers that also achieved their personal best times in their corresponding events were Landen Ayres, Lexi Hsieh, and Alberto Motola. 

We also want to give a shoutout to grandma Norma for supporting our athletes with a delicious breakfast and a wonderful hot cocoa! This team really appreciates your care and love.
