The season is off to a great start, and our swimmers have shown incredible dedication, growth, and team spirit. Training together every morning during first period has made a noticeable difference, strengthening both our technique and our chemistry as a team. That shared commitment is paying off as we transition into a schedule with more dual meets, giving our athletes more opportunities to race head-to-head. 

Our swimmers have already delivered standout performances. At the NISD TISCA Meet, Haley Harris broke the meet record in the 500 freestyle—an outstanding achievement. The girls’ team also had an amazing performance at the Gobbler Games in Corpus Christi, earning 3r place overall. On our dual meet action, the team secured two victories against Brennan (256–183) and Harlan (276–259). 

We are proud to recognize our Swimmers of the Meet so far: Soleil Elammari, Carlos Baez Del Bosque, Shia Camarillo, Devin Funk, Lexi Hsieh, Tiago Furquim Correia, Marcelo Escobar, Ian Hamer, and Hana Sinha, whose performances and leadership continue to inspire their teammates. Our team captains—Rafael Guerrero, Connor Hsieh, Lilly Dreher, and Haley Harris—have done an exceptional job leading by example in and out of the pool.

As we head into the new year, we wish our swim family a Happy New Year and look forward to building on this momentum. All eyes are now on our District Championships on January 24, where our swimmers are ready to compete, support one another, and finish the season strong.
